Tow Truck Driver - DOT Certified - Burlingame

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is excited to announce an opening for a Full Time Transport / Tow Truck Driver. The Tow Truck driver will be responsible to receive towing requests that are dispatched via an electronic application and provide transport services for collision or mechanically damaged cars. The candidate must be comfortable operating heavy machinery, work in inclement weather with potential exposure to the elements and be able to lift at times more than 50 pounds.

The pay for this position is $26 / hr and is located at 778 Burlway Road Burlingame, CA 94010.

This position requires a California driver's license.

This position does not allow for any other paid employment - No Moonlighting.

Must have 12 months work experience double towing.

Training will be provided and candidate must pass tow truck driver specific curriculum and testing.

• Safely operate the tow truck, equipment and all accessories.
• Hook and tie down cars for transport following outlined procedures and guidelines.
• Transport cars between dealerships, body shops, branches and auctions as requested.
• Keep track of time and transports for billing.

DOT Requirements:

We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations. Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination (Certification for at least 6 months) in addition to drug testing as well as random drug and alcohol testing as regulated by the Federal Transit Authority.
