About the Role
The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in Sycomp’s technology‑focused warehouse operations. This position supports daily activities including receiving, storing, handling, picking, and packing technology hardware such as servers, networking devices, and other sensitive IT equipment. This role requires accuracy, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities General Warehouse Operations- Perform all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse (up to 50 lbs unassisted).
- Operate warehouse equipment safely following manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Handle and store sensitive IT hardware following proper equipment‑handling guidelines.
- Prepare and package technology equipment to meet customer and industry quality standards.
- Unload delivery vehicles; verify and break down incoming material, documenting any discrepancies.
- Store products in their designated locations using Sycomp’s outlined processes.
- Select and pack customer orders accurately, ensuring all shipments meet customer expectations.
- Use Mac/PC systems to complete warehouse tasks; basic proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
- Learn and navigate inventory and financial systems to support daily operations.
- Warehouse or logistics experience preferred; technology‑hardware handling a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency with Mac/PC and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to understand and use inventory or financial‑based programs.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Positive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to take initiative and support team goals.
- Career‑driven mindset with enthusiasm for learning, advancing skills, and growing within Sycomp.
