Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Inventory Technician to support daily warehouse and inventory operations in Burlingame, CA. This individual will be responsible for shipping and receiving materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and safely operating material handling equipment, including forklifts. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has experience using computer systems or Excel to track inventory.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing materials in accordance with company and carrier requirements
• Track inventory levels and movements using inventory software and/or Microsoft Excel
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training/certification provided if needed)
• Organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas to ensure efficiency and safety
• Label, store, and stage materials appropriately
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support general warehouse and operational tasks as needed

• Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or inventory-related role
• Experience using computer systems or Microsoft Excel to track inventory
• Ability and willingness to obtain forklift certification
• Basic math and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to lift and move materials (up to typical warehouse weight limits)
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on a forklift for extended periods

• Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems
• Shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
