Position Overview
As a Mobile Team Manager on the Personal and Business Banking team at CIBC, you will lead and coach a team of Mobile Financial Service Representatives at CIBC kiosks located inside Costco warehouses. Your primary focus is delivering an exceptional client experience, deepening client relationships, and driving sales of CIBC deposit accounts while uncovering referral opportunities for our banking centres.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and inspire the Mobile Team to perform at their best, championing a “One Team” approach.
- Connect each client with the right advice to meet their financial needs and ensure a high standard of service.
- Drive sales of CIBC deposit accounts and identify referral opportunities for our banking centres.
- Maintain on‑site full‑time presence with rotational shift work Monday‑Sunday, including weekends and statutory holidays.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and controls; protect CIBC’s assets and reputation; manage risk by adhering to regulatory guidelines and operational procedures.
- Monitor business performance, implement action plans to close gaps, and support the team in achieving goals.
- Client and Community Engagement – Lead by example to deepen client relationships while providing a high standard of service.
- People Leadership – Create a positive, productive working environment, recognize contributions, and recruit staff who demonstrate our values.
- Results‑Driven Leadership – Build and coach a high‑performing team focused on improving client experience and consolidating business for CIBC.
- Experience in the financial services industry with sales management and advisory coaching.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and ability to deliver an efficient client experience while maximizing business opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills: caring, accountable, and passionate about developing team members.
- Goal‑oriented mindset with the motivation to deliver results and make a difference.
- Accreditation assets:
Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada) and/or Branch Managers’ Course (BMC) or Branch Compliance Office Course (BCO). - Alignment with CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
