The Third Party Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end operations at our Burlington Distribution Center. Incumbent will work closely with both internal (CSR, Sales, Planning, Logistics, Quality) and external (LSP, Warehouse team – UPS) stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of all Sun Pharma 3PL activities (inbound & outbound) for CA market
  • Maintain complete oversight of UPS operations and work closely on a daily basis with UPS team to ensure seamless/timely receipt and dispatches of finished good
  • Manages SAP/WMS Processes and Data Controls
  • Track shipment delays and improve delivery accuracy
  • Work with Warehouse team on reducing shipment errors and putting necessary CAPA’s in place. Work with CSR and UPS to minimize returns, damages and improve overall shipping accuracy
  • Work closely with CSR on timely DO execution and provide necessary updates on shipment status
  • Improve DC efficiency and provide ideas to reduce operations cost
  • Provide directions to warehouse and logistics team resulting in overall improvement of shipping accuracy
  • Drive adoption of new tools and equipment to improve DC operations
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse service providers and negotiate scope of work and deliverables
  • Maintains SOP’s with current and proposed new processes
  • Coordinates with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations. (i.e. warehouse urgent requests)
  • Completes necessary Activity/KPI Reports for Management
  • Coordinate all reverse logistics activities – product returns tracking and destruction
  • Manage all damages reporting from UPS and work with internal insurance team for claim reimbursement.
  • Track all internal damages and expired products, create MDN for approvals and ensure destruction is carried according to Sunpharma policy
  • Attends regular and called meetings as required.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)

Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of warehouse and operations management experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience (strongly preferred)
  • Direct experience managing inventory, either in-house warehousing or via third-party logistics providers (3PL)
  • Must have strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Solid understanding of GWP (Good Wholesaling Practices) and GDP (Good Distribution Practices)
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
  • Experience managing logistics and transportation operations within a regulated environment
  • Prior experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives
