Millwright (433A) – Food Manufacturing

Burlington, Ontario | $44.25 per hour | Full-Time | Two Fixed Shift Options | Long-Term Opportunity

We are currently hiring a Millwright (433A) for a leading food processing and manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Millwright looking for stable employment, competitive pay, and strong benefits in a high-demand manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and food manufacturing or FMCG production environments.

• Afternoon Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (night shift includes $2.00/hour premium)

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PDM), and corrective maintenance (CM) on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Work on equipment including: conveyors and packaging systems, pumps, grinders, fans, and blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding equipment, lathes, and power tools
• Perform TIG welding and mechanical fabrication/repairs
• Install, align, and commission new machinery and production equipment
• Respond to maintenance work orders using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Complete accurate documentation for maintenance, inventory, and labour tracking
• Follow all GMP and food safety standards
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams in a fast‑paced environment

• Valid Industrial Millwright License (433A required)
• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or food processing environments
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Proficient in TIG welding
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in hot and cold industrial environments
• Must have own tools
• Strong English communication skills
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

• $44.25/hour competitive wage
