As a Rebuild Specialist at U-Haul, you will work under the direction of the Shop Manager to ensure compliance with industry standards for Ford, GM, International, and Toyota vehicles. Candidates must possess previous mechanical experience and knowledge of truck components, enabling you to diagnose failures and determine optimal repair strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and rebuild truck parts based on U-Haul standards

• Diagnose component failures accurately and propose solutions

• Utilize hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance

• Maintain quality control and good housekeeping practices

• Mentor less experienced personnel in repair techniques

Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical repair of truck components

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record

• Familiarity with technical manuals and safety protocols

• Willingness to engage in continuous skill development
