Har-Bur Middle School is looking for a dynamic Spanish teacher to join a team of passionate and collaborative educators. The World Language department at Har-Bur is a collaborative and collegial group of educators who strive to instill a love for language and an appreciation for the cultures of others. We are looking for a candidate who will bring their own knowledge, expertise, and ideas to the table.

An ideal Spanish teacher at Har-Bur Middle School is someone who creates engaging lessons and employs a variety of instructional strategies to help students be successful learners. Our team of world language teachers has the opportunity to meet several times weekly for a grade 5‑8 world language PLC, and there are several professional learning opportunities throughout the year.

• Knowledge of or willingness to use Microsoft Office 365
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Preferred experience using restorative practices to maintain an organized and productive learning environment for all students.
• Ability to collaborate with other teachers and integrate interdisciplinary approaches.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to students on their communication skills.
