Lewis Mills High School is looking for a dynamic and engaging French teacher to join a team of driven and innovative educators. The World Language department at Lewis Mills is a collaborative and collegial group of educators who strive to instill a love for language and an appreciation for culture of others. We are looking for a candidate who will bring their own knowledge, expertise, and ideas to the table.

An ideal French teacher at Lewis Mills High School is someone who creates engaging lessons taught primarily in French, and employs a variety of instructional strategies to help students be successful learners. The candidate must also have extensive knowledge of and appreciation for the multitude of diverse cultures of the French-speaking world. We value collaboration on problems of practice and frequently work together to brainstorm solutions to unique problems or patterns that arise.

Our team of world language teachers has the opportunity to meet several times weekly for a 9-12 world language teacher PLC, and there are several professional learning opportunities throughout the year. Come be a part of our amazing team!

• CT Endorsement 018 French certification
• Proficiency-based instruction (preferred)
• Microsoft Office 365 (specifically One Note, Teams, etc.) (preferred)
