Are you passionate about soccer and looking for a part-time role as a Goalkeeper Coach?

Soccer XS is committed to supporting the growth and development of youth soccer players, coaches and clubs. We believe all participants deserve a positive and developmentally appropriate experience in youth soccer. We provide local soccer clubs with a variety of developmentally appropriate youth soccer programs and each program has been carefully designed to positively impact the common challenges faced by youth soccer clubs.

Our programs are easy to implement and provide a clear pathway of development for players and coaches.

• Develop and deliver goalkeeper specific training and content.
• Engage and interact with children ages 7-14 in a fun and outgoing manner.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for young aspiring goalkeepers & players.
• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and responsibility when interacting with players and their families.
• Be able to create and use age-appropriate goalkeeper/soccer activities to engage players for a full session.
• Be able to adapt to the coaching role as it shifts slightly depending on the season and program you are assigned to.

• Recreational goalkeeper coach
• Competitive goalkeeper coach
• Goalkeeper camps and clinic coach
• Small group and private training goalkeeper coach

• A background and passion for soccer
• Playing and/or coaching experience in Goalkeeping
• USSF or USC coaching license is preferred. However, if you are unlicensed but come with goalkeeper experience, we will pay for you to attain your first USSF coaching license online.
• Able to reliably commit to a couple of evenings a week for practices and Saturday mornings for games.
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality and the ability to create a positive and fun environment for young players
• Pass a background check
• You must be based locally in CT and be legal to work in the US (we don’t provide US work VISA’s)
• Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle to reliably commute within a 20-mile radius / 30-minute drive to programs.
• Experience working with children is a plus - this role would be a great opportunity for teachers and other sports coaches who have a passion for soccer

• Competitive Pay: $22.50 - $50 per hour. Pay is hourly and the pay rate is based on coaching role, qualifications and experience.
