Burlington Community School District is looking for a Preschool Level II Special Education Associate Class

B. The position involves 7.5 hours per day for 144 days a year. The pay rate is $14.94 per hour or $15.34 per hour with an Associates Degree or higher or a para educator certificate. Educational requirements include a CDA® Credential, Para educator Certificate, Associate/Bachelor Degree, or two years of college that meet IQPPS standards or have the equivalent or are enrolled and working toward a CDA® or the equivalent (must include generalist and EC Certificates).

Responsibilities include accompanying students to their activities, keeping students on task and organized, assisting with personal hygiene needs, supervising students in various areas, having computer and typing skills, understanding basic math, science, reading, and writing skills, working with students in small groups or individually, following written and oral directions, and having MANDT Training and Behavior Management preferred. Mobility and ability to lift are required.

Other duties may include additional hours to help with student's bussing needs.
