Summary/ObjectiveProduction Line Attendants are assigned to various positions along the production line. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Attendants must learn and follow product specifications to meet company standards and comply with all quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Hours may change based on the production schedule as business needs arise.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- This job is in a fast-paced environment and will require you to be physically active
- Lift up to 50lbs.–bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other activities as needed
- Prolonged standing and walking on concrete surfaces
- Work in a wide range of temperatures and conditions while being exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Continuous use of hands, including reaching and performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
- Ability to maintain consistent product flow along conveyors
- Communicate and problem-solve with co-workers
The Production Line Attendant will ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines, including, but not limited to:
- Understanding and following facility cleaning and safety procedures
- Performing various assembly and packaging tasks on the production line
- Count, pack, and inspect finished product for correct label, cleanliness, and quality
- Able to pay close attention to detail. Working on various stages of assembling.
- Completing all required paperwork (i.e., downtime, HACCP, etc.)
- Utilizing SAP, SOPs, Safety Operation/Training as appropriate
- Keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized throughout the shift
- Conducting yourself in a manner consistent with the company’s mission, vision, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThe plant operates in an environment of 50 degrees Fahrenheit or below. Personnel are encouraged to wear warm clothing.
