Accounting Manager

Description

Robert Half is working with a new client in the real estate development space seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team. This is a permanent role, reporting into the company's owner, acting as the #1 in-house accounting person. Our client is looking for at least 5+ years of experience and a degree in accounting is preferred. Prior experience in the construction or real estate space is also desired.

This role is based in-office. Starting salary is between $100-120K and competitive benefits are offered.

Requirements - At least 5 years of accounting experience, including responsibility for month-end close activities.

- Demonstrated expertise in general ledger management and financial reporting processes.

- Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.

- Background supporting or leading financial statement audit activities.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control practices.

- High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
