Financial Accounting Analyst

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accounting Analyst to join their finance team in Burlington, MA. This on-site, temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and accounts receivable. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with financial reporting and contract-related accounting functions.

• Manage and track contract-related financial information, labor costs, travel expenses, and other direct costs.
• Create and process purchase requests and purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors.
• Review and approve vendor invoices and expense reports.
• Assist with monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare customer invoices and support Accounts Receivable activities.
• Process AR, AP, Daily Cash Reconciliation, Cash Receipts.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial transactions and reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of Accounting and finance experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and credit check
