Location: Burlington, MA (100% Onsite)

Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 + 10% Bonus

A rapidly growing, venture-backed manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment and wants the opportunity to grow into an Accounting Manager role over time.

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, this position will play a key role in strengthening the company's accounting processes while supporting continued operational growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Perform cost accounting, including manufacturing cost analysis, overhead allocation, job costing, and grant cost tracking.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, including inventory valuation, cycle counts, and reserve analysis.
  • Analyze financial results and provide reporting and insights to support business decisions.
  • Partner with operations, production, purchasing, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.
  • Assist with external audits, tax support, and other compliance requirements.
  • Support the continued development and scalability of accounting systems and financial processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Net Suite or a similar ERP system.
  • Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a high‑growth environment.
