Company Overview:
A boutique CPA firm with over 40 years of experience specializes in business and personal tax services. They are seeking a Tax Manager to support increasing client demand and serve as a key link between leadership and staff.
Job Responsibilities:- Review and manage tax engagements across individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, including reviewing work, providing feedback, and supporting development
- Manage multiple client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic guidance to clients
- Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax issues, including responding to IRS and state notices
- Stay current on federal and state tax law and apply updates to client situations
- Collaborate closely with partners on client strategy and firm initiatives
- 7+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong experience reviewing tax work and supervising staff
- Deep knowledge of federal and state tax for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships
- Strong tax research skills and ability to think critically beyond compliance work
- Familiarity with Thomson Reuters software suite (Ultra Tax) and Quick Books preferred
Salary: $130,000 - $170,000
