What You'll Do:
  • Organizes and coordinates unit/floor operations, manages schedules, assignments, and maintains office supplies to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Answers and directs incoming phone calls, greets visitors, handles inquiries, and communicates with residents, families, and staff while strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Arranges and confirms appointments for residents/patients and manages incoming mail, correspondence, and appropriate filing systems for records and documents.
  • Operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems and computers for word processing, database management, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality, exemplifies professionalism, and communicates with respect, caring and sensitivity to all health professionals and visitors.
  • Supports daily administrative duties including tracking clerical work, making copies, managing the switchboard, paging announcements and handling emergencies as needed.
What You’ll Need:
  • High school education.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • At least one year of experience working with the geriatric population.
  • At least one year of experience working as a receptionist.
  • Experience with customer service required.
  • Proficient in reading, writing and following instructions in English.
