The Merchant Services Specialist will work closely with the Director of Customer Success - Merchant Services and Support, clients and our internal implementation teams to organize and oversee Aliaswire’s growing merchant services business. Aliaswire maintains Direct Biller and Direct Embed, our B2C and B2B payment platforms and has a burgeoning merchant services portfolio which requires daily operational activities, onboarding, account maintenance, and more.

• Manage merchant services onboarding operations as part of the overall operations team and in conjunction with the greater Customer Success Group. Related tasks for this role include but are not limited to the underwriting and onboarding of merchants to the processing platforms, organization of merchant documentation, continuous communication and follow up with existing, and new merchants. The Merchant Services Specialist may also have required activities around risk monitoring and compliance reporting, assist with Merchant Services related special projects, and more.
• Perform all tasks required to underwrite, board, and maintain new merchant accounts
• Oversee the ongoing maintenance and administration of merchant accounts across multiple acquiring banks and platforms
• Assist in the management of relationships with various partners involved in the Merchant Services operations
• Review current processes and make recommendations for improvements as needed
• May be involved in pre-sales merchant services demonstrations or providing assistance with scoping projects / developing proposals as they relate to the Merchant Services operations
• Provide ongoing support, including answering questions and resolving any merchant issues
• Be an internal Subject Matter Expert on payment card / merchant industry

• 2+ years managing merchant services operations
• Deep experience with merchant underwriting, onboarding, and account maintenance
• Strong writing, presentation, and telephone skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Demonstrate initiative and skilled in anticipating and solving problems
• 5+ Years Experience with payment systems/Fintech industry
• Additional relevant education and/or certifications a plus
• Enthusiastic about payments & technology and enjoys customer service roles
• $50K-$60K base salary plus participation in Company’s annual bonus plan and stock options
