Job DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Corporate Sponsor ships for Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship is responsible for engaging current and prospective members more fully with The Center and initiating new revenue generating business. The two focus areas will be on conference sponsorship and custom education. The duties include prospecting, qualifying, cold calling, lead generation, gaining access to decision makers, relationship building and signing member companies to new business.
This position is responsible for representing The Center to corporate audiences, identifying market needs of current and prospective members and deepening the engagement of current members with the Center and its products.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $72,450 to $90,550; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
RequirementsBachelor degree or commensurate combination of experience and training required.
3 - 5 years professional level fundraising or sales experience with a proven record of soliciting and closing transactions of $10,000 minimum (approximately $1 million+ annually).
This position may travel as much as 25% of the year to attend our courses, annual conference, and meet with members. Center staff are expected to work in the office.
