Business Operations Analyst (JN - Burlington, Massachusetts

Our client, a growing professional services organization in Burlington, MA
, is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working across multiple areas of the business
. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting daily operations while contributing to the company's overall efficiency and success.

Location: Burlington, MA (On-Site Required)

Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay rate range: $40.86 -$48.07/hr (depends on experience)

This is a contract to hire opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Review and process employee travel and expense reports.
  • Support government contract administration and reporting requirements.
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections.
  • Support payroll administration, including time collection, labor distribution, and payroll processing through ADP.
  • Assist with special projects and other business operations initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate business and financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in business operations, financial operations, accounting, payroll, or related functions.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and overall computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter who works independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting government contracts, DoD environments, or professional services organizations.
  • Experience with PROCAS, Delphi, WAWF, or similar systems.
  • Process improvement and problem-solving mindset.
