Job Summary
As a Sales Operations Generalist at JCI, you will support the day-to-day execution of our commercial operations. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you will manage the processes that keep customer orders moving from initial receipt to fulfillment and invoicing.
Responsibilities- Execute the full sales operations workflow, including order entry, review, customer portal coordination, invoicing, and recurring sales reporting.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of all transactional commercial activity.
- Support the commercial sales team in resolving customer issues, including order and invoicing questions, order status updates, and processing returns.
- Coordinate internally to ensure timely resolution of customer requests.
- Maintain data hygiene and accuracy for opportunities and customer records in the CRM system.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on pipeline and sales activity KPIs.
- Validate orders against export/import compliance requirements in coordination with the Global Trade Compliance team.
- Ensure required documentation is collected, maintained, and stored, and serve as the primary liaison between the Stack Forging Thermal Solutions team and the Global Trade Compliance team for order-level compliance execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or finance; preference for manufacturing organization experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage transactional work accurately.
- Ability to balance multiple concurrent requests, coordinate across functions, and timely escalations to maintain momentum.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions.
- Experience in a high-growth environment where processes are still being defined.
- Proficiency in CRM and related systems;
Salesforce experience preferred. - Familiarity with export/import regulations (EAR/ITAR) and standard compliance practices.
Salary range: $55,000 - $82,000. Position includes a competitive benefits package.
