Position SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused UX Designer to translate business requirements, wireframes, user flows, existing design patterns, and brand direction into polished, production-ready digital experiences. The designer will support ongoing website and ecommerce initiatives while maintaining consistency across established design systems. This role is highly collaborative and will work closely with UX leadership, product, engineering, ecommerce, brand, and marketing teams.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Figma, comfortable working within established design systems, and able to efficiently manage multiple design work streams.
- Translate business requirements, wireframes, user flows, and creative direction into detailed responsive designs.
- Apply existing design system components, patterns, variables, and styles across new and existing digital experiences.
- Create and refine reusable Figma components when existing patterns do not fully meet design or business requirements.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and development-ready Figma files.
- Prepare design specifications, interaction details, responsive behavior, annotations, and documentation for engineering handoff.
- Support production updates, design iterations, content changes, and feature enhancements across ecommerce work streams.
- Partner with UX leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and efficiently resolve design questions.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers during implementation to clarify design intent and maintain visual quality.
- Conduct design QA of developed experiences and identify visual, interaction, responsive, and accessibility issues.
- Identify inconsistencies, outdated patterns, and opportunities to improve component reuse.
- Participate in design reviews and provide practical recommendations.
- Manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, ecommerce design, or a related digital design discipline.
- Strong proficiency with Figma, including:
- Auto Layout
- Components
- Variants
- Variables
- Prototyping
- Shared libraries
- Experience designing responsive digital experiences for desktop and mobile.
- Experience working within and contributing to established design systems.
- Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy, layout, and interaction details.
- Ability to work independently within defined requirements and established design direction.
- Experience preparing organized design files and clear engineering handoff documentation.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and their application to digital product design.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, and UX teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and respond constructively to feedback.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint or similar presentation tools.
- Portfolio demonstrating polished UI execution, responsive ecommerce or product design, and component-based design work.
- Experience designing for Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
- Experience supporting ecommerce replatforming, redesign, or optimization initiatives.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Experience conducting design QA against developed digital experiences.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, or component-based front-end frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative product development environments.
