A medical center in Massachusetts is seeking a rheumatologist to join their team for locum tenens coverage. This role involves office-clinic duties with hospital coverage. The schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an average of 12 patients per day and one hospital consult every 1-2 weeks. The patient population is primarily adults. Responsibilities include joint aspirations and joint injections (Hyalgan and corticosteroids).
The facility uses the Meditech Expanse EMR system.
- Board Certified in Rheumatology (ABIM, ACR)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active Massachusetts License
- Clean malpractice record
