Teacher's Assistant (Paraprofessional)

$20.50 - $21.75 per hour

$2,500 in the first year of employment ($500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months)

RFK Community Alliance is a therapeutic day school that provides educational and clinical services to students with diverse social‑emotional, behavioral, mental health, and learning disabilities. The school focuses on helping students reach milestones such as graduation and transition to post‑secondary or vocational opportunities, ensuring they leave as connected, capable, and healthy individuals.

As a Teacher Aide you will partner with classroom teachers to implement and evaluate daily lesson plans. You will provide instruction and guidance to students, helping them meet the academic, social, and emotional development goals outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). This role offers professional development in special education, with future opportunities for those interested in becoming a special education teacher.

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Must be 21 years old or older.

• Interested in building a collaborative team atmosphere with teachers and other aides.

Full Time – 40 hours per week: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
