Program Site Coordinator After School Program - 2026/2027
Reporting to the Program Director and Assistant Director, the Program Site Coordinator will supervise and manage the program at the school. The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school-age program (K-8), ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children. This role includes staff supervision, program implementation, and maintaining strong communication with families.
The Program Site Coordinator supervises the Teachers, Assistants, and Volunteers.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the daily program operations, ensuring activities are ongoing, developmentally appropriate and aligned with program goals; working collaboratively with other site coordinators developing curriculum; ensuring the safety, well-being, and supervision of all children in the program; supervising, supporting, and evaluating staff performance; coordinating and conducting staff training and professional development; maintaining open and effective communication with families regarding program activities and child progress;
ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations; and maintaining program budget for site.
Qualifications include a bachelors degree in a related field (i.e. education, child development, human services, or similar); minimum five years experience working with school-aged children; meeting qualifications of EEC/DESE Site Coordinator; being familiar with EEC regulations; and training and demonstrated knowledge of the developmental needs of school-age children.
The qualifications listed above are preferential to the duties and responsibilities as listed in the job description, but may be waived at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools.
Work schedule:
35 hours per week, based on the needs of the program
Salary:
Starting at $60,000 DOQ
