Special Education Teacher - Burlington, Massachusetts

• Valid DSE Severe Needs teaching license required
• Previous experience working with students with severe/profound disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs), behavior intervention strategies, and assistive technology
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and medical staff
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability to respond to students unique needs

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students abilities and medical considerations
• Deliver direct instruction in a range of subjects, as well as functional and communication skills
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and nurses to ensure comprehensive support
• Effectively manage a diverse caseload, maintaining compliance and documentation in alignment with state regulations
• Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment for young learners
