Software Engineer, Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• C2 Systems
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded and real-time software on Linux-based platforms
• Develop and support multiple operating modes for sensor and communications systems
• Integrate sensor data into external command, control, or visualization systems
• Collaborate with hardware teams on SoC-, FPGA-, and RF-adjacent designs
• Build tools and interfaces for operators, analysts, and engineers
• Support system integration, lab and field testing, and technical reviews
• Contribute to documentation, requirements, and engineering best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline
• 5+ years of experience building embedded or real-time systems
• Strong proficiency in C++, C, and Python on embedded Linux platforms
• Experience with testing, version control, and modern development workflows
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced degree or experience with sensing, RF, or distributed systems
• Exposure to containers, secure systems, or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with simulation, visualization, or hardware-in-the-loop testing
