Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to develop and optimize embedded control algorithms for next-generation consumer and commercial brewer appliances. This role will work cross-functionally with controls, hardware, and embedded software teams to deliver innovative features, improve system performance, and enhance customer experience.

• Design, develop, and implement embedded control algorithms for brewer systems.
• Support integration between controls/hardware and embedded software teams.
• Develop developer tools, diagnostics, data logging, and debugging utilities.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning and code reviews.
• Perform experimentation, validation, root cause analysis, and system performance testing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including quality, cost, and complexity reduction.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with embedded systems and control algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of SDLC tools, debugging tools, and source control systems.
• Experience with thermal/fluid control systems, instrumentation, and data analysis.
• Experience with Six Sigma, DOE, RCA, A3, or 8D methodologies preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 15% domestically/internationally.
