Role:
Sr. Mechanical Engineering Technician
Locations:
Burlington, MA (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Rate: $48/Hr W2
Requirements
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced prototype/lab environment
- What Type of Background or Profile Has Worked Well in This Position:
- Several years of hands-on experience with electromechanical capital equipment
- Mechanical Engineering Technician, Mechanical Technician, Engineering Technician, or strong Assembly Technician backgrounds
- Experience supporting prototype builds, testing, and documentation activities
- Medical device experience preferred, but not required
- Strong experience with troubleshooting, mechanical assembly, and test support
- Nice-to-have experience includes:
— IEC 60601-1 or ISO 13485 regulated environments
— Oracle PLM or Helix ALM
— CAD exposure (not a hard requirement, but a plus)
