ScheduleMonday–Friday, 40 hours/week with a flexible schedule
Job Summary- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for eye tracking and iris registration applications
- Improve algorithm robustness and accuracy under challenging real-world imaging conditions
- Perform algorithm performance analysis and failure mode investigations using internal datasets and clinical imaging data
- Design and prototype algorithms using primarily classical CV methods with selective ML support where appropriate
- Perform statistical evaluations including benchmarking, metric definition, and robustness analysis
- Collaborate closely with Applied Research engineers and support handoff activities to software engineering teams
- Strong Computer Vision (CV) algorithm development background (non-negotiable)
- Experience with iris detection, eye tracking, feature detection, geometry modeling, or registration algorithms
- Strong Python experience for rapid prototyping and research-grade code development
- Experience analyzing algorithm performance, edge cases, and failure modes
- Machine Learning experience is a plus, but the primary focus is classic CV approaches to improve existing algorithms
- C++ experience is a plus for production handoff support
- Experience in statistics, benchmarking, and algorithm evaluation metrics preferred
