We have pre‑sold our first 1,000 machines to iconic brands such as Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom. As of November 2025, we launched our first robot at Ulta Beauty in Everett. Our team of 50+ engineers brings deep robotics experience and we’re building beauty robotics on the map.
We are looking for our first Systems Test Engineer to play a foundational role in ensuring our systems perform reliably at scale in the real world. This high‑impact opportunity will shape quality standards and testing infrastructure for a rapidly scaling robotics company.
What You’ll Do- Develop and execute system‑level test plans for robotic hardware, embedded software, cloud services, and connected applications.
- Validate functionality, reliability, performance, and stability across integrated robotic systems.
- Perform regression, integration, functional, stress, and end‑to‑end testing across hardware and software environments.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track system‑level defects and reliability issues.
- Collaborate closely with software, embedded, electrical, mechanical, and product engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Build and improve test processes, tooling, and automation infrastructure where applicable.
- Support hardware bring‑up, field validation, and production testing efforts.
- Analyze logs, telemetry, and system behavior to diagnose root causes of failures.
- Help define quality standards, test coverage requirements, and release readiness criteria.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across deployed systems.
- 3+ years of experience in systems testing, integration testing, validation engineering, QA engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience testing complex hardware/software integrated systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across software, hardware, networking, and embedded environments.
- Familiarity with test methodologies including regression, integration, functional, and performance testing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, system diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD.
