Alloy Enterprises, founded in 2020, develops high‑performance thermal components and cooling loop solutions for AI, HPC, and defense systems.

This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week.

Lead engineering efforts to identify root causes, optimize processes, and deliver high‑performance, high‑quality parts to customers ahead of schedule. Manage a team of Process Engineers while maintaining a “hands‑on” presence on the production floor, bridging the gap between engineering development and high‑volume output.

You deploy resources effectively, coach engineers, and serve as a vital link to ensure successful customer outcomes while pushing the limits of the Stack Forging process.

• Lead & Mentor:
  Manage a high‑performing team of Process Engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and maintaining a “hands‑on” presence on the production floor.
• Scale for Volume:
  Own the transition of parts to high‑volume production, ensuring components are designed and builds optimized for throughput and cost.
• Process Tuning & Optimization:
  Contribute across the Stack Forging process—including laser cutting, metal‑metal bonding, surface characterization/preparation, complex part geometry design, data and computational analysis, and material property optimization—in support of existing customer projects.
• Strategic Root Cause Analysis:
  Lead deep‑dive investigations into issues, utilizing data and technical grit to identify root causes.
• Cross‑Functional Feedback:
  Act as the primary link between the production floor and the broader engineering organization to identify long‑term improvements in testing and manufacturing capabilities.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7–10+ years of professional experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience (commensurate with a Lead Engineer level).
• Manufacturing Expertise:
  Deep experience in mass‑production environments and familiarity with manufacturing methods such as metal additive manufacturing, casting, machining, or brazing.

  Previous hands‑on experience with laser cutting, metallurgy, or surface chemistry.
• Tooling:
  Familiar with CAD (preferably Onshape) and proficiency with Python for data analysis.
• Leadership History:
  Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams or leading significant engineering projects.

• Adaptability:
  Previous experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Salary Range: $130,000 – $145,000, with a competitive bonus plan and a comprehensive benefits package.
