We are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Associate/Scientist for our Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice in Burlington, MA. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide high-level support to clients and consultants across the Environmental and Earth Sciences and other related practices involving water‑related matters, spanning from impacted environmental media, to drinking water treatment, industrial applications, and root‑cause investigations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, environmental chemistry, and/or treatment operations.

• Conduct engineering and technical analyses, and prepare clear written communications and reports.
• Support multidisciplinary project teams on complex, challenging problems.
• Assist clients with water‑related challenges, spanning polluted waters and sediments, drinking water applications, industrial wastewater treatment, food production processes, stormwater handling, water recycling, contaminated groundwater treatment, energy generation, health and consumer products development, and many others.
• Pursue professional development opportunities, including conference presentations and journal publications, to improve professional visibility.
• Develop existing client relationships and expand business opportunities.

• Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial water treatment, consulting, operations, management, and/or litigation support.
• Relevant experience in the areas of Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, including water/wastewater treatment process design, process optimization, food and beverage production, or consumer and/or small‑scale device development.
• Ability to synthesize and interpret complex engineering practices and associated water quality data sets for forensic and root‑cause analysis investigations.
• Experience with water quality regulation (e.g., Safe Drinking Water Act) and permitting is a plus.
• Experience using field equipment for the collection of surface water and groundwater, soil, and sediment samples is a plus.
• Experience evaluating multiple analytical techniques for the assessment of environmental conditions.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects and tasks with competing deadlines, and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to personal and company marketing.
• Subject‑matter expert experience is a plus.
• Currently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
