Director of Engineering

An established and growing technical solutions organization is seeking a Director of Engineering & Solutions to lead and scale a multidisciplinary team responsible for engineering excellence, technical services, custom solutions, fabrication, and customer-focused innovation.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex customer challenges, developing high-performing teams, and partnering closely with Sales and Operations to drive business growth.

• Lead and execute the strategy for a broad Engineering & Solutions organization
• Build and develop high-performing teams across:

• Application Engineering
• Technical Services
• Technical Training
• Custom Solutions Production

• Partner with Sales leadership to support strategic accounts, engineered solutions, and revenue growth initiatives
• Drive operational excellence through scalable processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers facing complex engineering and process challenges
• Develop organizational capability through leadership development, succession planning, and talent growth
• Champion innovation while balancing standardization, quality, customer requirements, and business objectives

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)
• 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering and technical service organizations
• Strong customer-facing experience in Application Engineering, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related functions
• Demonstrated ability to partner with Sales and Operations to drive growth and profitability
• Experience managing budgets, organizational performance, and strategic investments
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
• Strong leadership presence with a track record of building and developing teams

Experience with in one or more of the following industries:

• Fluid Handling
• Process Equipment
• Life Sciences
• Semiconductor Manufacturing
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Engineered Products
• OEM or Technical Distribution

MBA or advanced engineering degree is a plus.
