Your Role

Residing in the Life Science commercial organization and based in the Burlington, Massachusetts M Lab™ Collaboration Center, the Americas MSAT group is part of a worldwide Technical and Scientific Solutions (TSS) team of scientists and engineers that conducts biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, and manufacturing support activities with our best-in-class product portfolio. We work closely with our North American customers and our colleagues across the globe to solve the toughest problems in Life Science.

Relying on your expertise in bioprocessing using single-use technologies (SUT), you will be responsible for ensuring the success of a dynamic array of North America-based customers implementing our Mobius single-use portfolio. Their profiles are biomanufacturers and CDMOs with active clinical and commercial programs across many drug modalities. Activities you will support include:

  • Educate customers on proper handling, storage and transport of SUT during site visits or virtually.
  • Develop, update and deliver hands-on customer trainings explaining best practices for using SUT.
  • Partner with our technical service and quality teams to help troubleshoot, manage and resolve customer complaints and follow up actions. This will include hands-on work in our pilot lab to derive actionable insights.
  • Capture and collate improved design practices for configurable SUT based on field findings and promulgate within the organization.
  • Drive thought leadership activities including publications or briefs, conference presentations, and participation in industry working groups.

Our Mobius products within your scope include but are not limited to:
Mixers, tubing and filtration assemblies, 2D/3D storage bags, final filling assemblies, and single-use system (SUS) assemblies. In your daily work driving customer success, you will collaborate with commercial, quality, applications, and product management teams. Based on your experience and client interaction, you will provide "voice of customer" feedback to product and marketing teams as to market direction and technology needs.

Travel up to 30%.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering or biotechnology discipline and 5+ years of bioprocess industry experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SUT in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and driving quality investigation outcomes either in an end-user or a vendor environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading SU quality investigations to satisfactory resolution
  • Hands-on practice designing, operating and troubleshooting filtration processes in biopharmaceutical operations using single-use filtration assemblies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to independently present data and detailed technical information and lead fact-finding discussions with diverse end-user groups
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in an autonomous working environment

Pay Range for this position: $92,500 - $175,100

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
