Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Job Summary

As the Controller at Alloy Enterprises, you will oversee all accounting operations, maintain financial integrity, and drive the company’s financial strategy.

• Lead the accounting team and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting to support strategic decision‑making.
• Manage the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee all general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies consistent with parent company guidelines and reporting expectations.
• Coordinate and manage internal and/or external audits, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Oversee the buying/planning function to ensure purchases are made promptly and within company policies; coordinate with production on inventory integrity.

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA certification preferred, but not required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or high‑growth technology environment.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes in a scaling environment.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and complex technical accounting issues preferred.
• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Familiarity with inventory and cost accounting principles in a manufacturing setting.

This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week at our Burlington, MA site.

Hiring salary range: $118,000 - $157,000. This role offers a competitive bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. Exceptional candidates may bring unique skills and experiences that exceed the typical profile.
