Senior Accountant

Job Overview

Senior Accountant – responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley.

• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial results, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, review of monthly consolidated results, and assessment of unusual transactions.
• Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews, managing timelines and deliverables with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to create efficiencies through technology or process changes.
• Collaborate with the Global Finance Team to standardize and streamline recurring processes and data‑collection activities, establishing best practices that improve efficiency and optimize technology use.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of processes, procedures and controls that properly capture, track and report financial results in accordance with Sarbanes‑Oxley, U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Provide support for footnotes disclosure for financial reporting purposes related to applicable general ledger accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems to deliver better business outcomes.
• Assist with projects in various capacities, from execution of tasks on larger cross‑functional projects to project management activities on smaller projects.

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 5+ years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3+ years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience).
• Previous professional work experience in finance, preferably working with (or in) a life sciences or manufacturing company or within public accounting.
• Ability to understand, review and explain financial results and business drivers.
• Creative problem‑solving and presentation skills.
• CPA or CA designation preferred.
• Focus on continuous improvement to drive transition to a “best in class” finance organization.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work independently to meet deadlines or as a team member.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing to all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines.
• A sense of urgency and self‑motivation, with a personal commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer without restriction.
• Public company experience is preferred but not required.
• Oracle Cloud or Net Suite experience is preferred but not required.
• One Stream experience is a plus.
• Technical working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and SEC accounting/reporting rules.

• Onsite role in Burlington, MA (4 days/week).

Base Compensation: $82,000.00 - $.
