- Lead and support the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including preparation of revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, and internal revenue recognition policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and FP&A to review customer contracts and identify revenue implications.
- Assist with the preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, etc.), including revenue disclosures and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over revenue recognition and financial reporting in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors on revenue-related matters.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Participate in system enhancements and automation initiatives related to revenue and reporting processes.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in revenue recognition and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue recognition and SEC reporting.
- Experience in a public accounting firm and/or publicly traded technology company (preferably SaaS or cybersecurity).
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX compliance.
- Familiarity with Net Suite or similar ERP systems and revenue automation tools (e.g., Net Suite ARM, Zuora, Aptitude) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
This position has a starting base salary range of $80,000 to $105,000 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is also eligible for bonus.
