Travel RN – PCU nights in Burlington, MA: 8-week travel nursing contract near Boston. Join a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) float pool as a Registered Nurse (RN) on 12-hour nights, working with Epic EMR and critical care patients. • Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (near Boston; easy access to Boston-area amenities)
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks (travel contract)
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Scheduling: Weekly start dates (Mondays)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470–$2,600/week

• Active RN license (must meet facility credentialing requirements)
• Minimum 1 year recent PCU, step-down, or similar acute care experience
• Epic EMR experience required (documentation and charting proficiency)
• Competent to administer and titrate pressors and other critical care medications
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred (required if no prior travel nursing experience)
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered
• Ability to pass day-one clinical testing (Relias practice tests available)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU/step-down patients; manage acuity typical of progressive care and float settings
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed (float RN responsibilities)
• Manage patient ratios typically between 1:3–1:5 based on acuity
• Float to different units in 4-hour blocks during shifts to meet clinical demand
• Administer and titrate pressors and other critical medications safely per hospital protocols
• Document all care accurately using Epic EMR and follow hospital documentation standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case management, respiratory therapy) to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
