Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry in Burlington, MA:
Join an experienced Nursing Float Pool at a Level 1 trauma center, rotating days and nights and floating across units. This travel nursing contract in the Boston area is ideal for Med/Surg Telemetry RNs with strong telemetry and Epic EMR skills. Burlington (01805) offers easy access to Boston, shopping, dining, parks, and cultural attractions.

- Contract Duration: 8 weeks (March 23, 2026 – May 16, 2026)
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN), Nursing Float Pool – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days: 7:00a–7:30p; Nights: 7:00p–7:30a; rotates in 4-week blocks)
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470–$2,600 per week
- Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1+ year recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel experience
- Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, contract)
- Every other weekend availability required (Days: Sat/Sun; Nights: Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Provide high-quality patient care on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse
- Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed (float assignments may occur in 4-hour blocks)
- Continuously monitor and independently interpret telemetry strips and respond to cardiac events
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adapt to rotating shifts and variable unit assignments in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma environment
- Complete day-one pass/fail testing and utilize Relias practice tests as required
