Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital setting, requiring 5+ years of OR experience including transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases, along with Epic proficiency and a MA RN license.

Job Details

• Position is in a large hospital Operating Room department,

• Handles a wide range of surgical services, with emphasis on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases,

• Level 1 trauma center environment,

• Day shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM,

• Call is required approximately 3 times per month, covering shifts such as 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, 7:00 PM-11:00 PM, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, or a full 12-hour weekend call (Saturday or Sunday, 6:30 PM-6:30 AM),

• Epic EMR experience required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience required,

• Experience across multiple surgical services, with the ability to independently scrub/circulate transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases,

• Level 1 trauma center experience required,

• Large hospital setting experience required,

• Proficiency in Epic EMR required,

• Flu vaccine required prior to start (medical exemptions allowed),

• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed),

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility - travel, permanent, or per diem - must have a minimum 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility to be considered
