Position Overview:The Associate Director, Commercial Scientific Training will lead the development and execution of standardized systems, processes, training materials, and capabilities to support Pharma Essentia field teams. This role ensures that team members are equipped with the necessary skill, capabilities, and knowledge to effectively engage with Health Care Providers (HCPs).
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive vision, strategy, and tactical plan to enhance the scientific acumen and engagement capabilities of Field Commercial teams.
- Training: Lead the creation and delivery of scientific training programs including self‑paced modules, live sessions, and virtual workshops, knowledge retention tools, to ensure consistent and effective knowledge dissemination.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal departments such as Medical, Analytics & Informatics, Managed Markets, and other stakeholders to develop resources and tools for all field teams.
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee the development of training materials and tools that support field‑based interactions, ensuring alignment with overall company strategies and in full compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
- Scientific learning content: Ensures timely and efficient development and delivery of scientific learning content/training related to disease state, product, and treatment landscape.
- System and Process Optimization: Advise on enhancements to digital tools and systems that support field efficiency and external engagement, aiming to streamline processes and reduce administrative burdens.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs and materials, validate and update as appropriate existing materials, generate routine reports implement improvements based on feedback and evolving team needs.
- Regulatory and Compliance: Working knowledge of relevant Medical Affairs regulations and quality standards, with experience in supporting quality, compliance, and legal/ethics training.
- Education:
Scientific / Clinical / Medical educational background preferred. - Advanced Scientific Degree (e.g., PA, NP, RN, OCN, Pharm
D) preferred. - 5+ years successful sales and/or commercial training experience in hematology/oncology.
- Professional experience:
Clinical experience working with benign Hematology and/or previous experience working in similar role highly preferred. - Up to 30% travel to allow for field engagement, attendance at regional and national trainings, etc.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast‑paced and ever‑evolving environment, as well as a proven track record of working effectively in diverse teams involving multi‑functional disciplines.
