Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Storage organization as an Engineering Manager and lead the team building and operating a high-performance distributed file system that’s core to OCI’s storage portfolio. This service supports some of our most demanding customers—especially large AI/ML workloads—with strict performance expectations and clear SLAs. With customer demand accelerating, you’ll help scale both the product and the organization to deliver reliable, predictable performance at cloud scale.

You’ll manage and grow a team of engineers across the full service lifecycle: architecture and delivery of new capabilities, operational excellence, performance engineering, and reliability improvements. You’ll partner closely with product management, SRE, and adjacent OCI teams to prioritize the roadmap, ensure strong execution, and keep service health and customer outcomes front and center.

• Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team building and running a high-performance file system service in OCI
• Set execution direction: planning, prioritization, delivery, and consistent engineering rigor
• Own operational excellence: on-call readiness, incident management, postmortems, and continuous improvement
• Drive a culture of reliability, performance, and disciplined engineering practices (automation, testing, quality gates)
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver roadmap commitments and meet customer SLAs
• Anticipate scale: capacity planning, performance benchmarking, and readiness for rapid demand growth

Hiring Range in USD from: $118,300 - $251,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

• Paid time off:
  Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
  
  Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
