System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA
. Candidate must have strong Citrix Xen App/Xen Desktop administration expertise as a key qualification for this position.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $57/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Managing Citrix Xen App/Xen Desktop environments by overseeing administration, configuration, and performance optimization tasks.
• Providing escalated technical support for complex system issues while troubleshooting remote access gateways across Citrix, Cisco, and Juniper platforms.
• Building and enhancing the Citrix stack on top of a VMware environment, ensuring readiness and alignment with infrastructure requirements.
• Assessing server performance metrics to determine virtualization candidates and implementing network optimizations for Provisioning Services.
• Configuring and maintaining Access Gateway and Netscaler components while ensuring secure IPSec and SSL VPN connectivity.
• Creating technical documentation, developing training materials, and presenting system solutions to business and leadership teams.

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of network administration experience along with 3–5 years of Citrix Xen App/Xen Desktop experience.
• Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in managing Citrix environments, remote access gateways, and Netscaler/Access Gateway components.
• Candidate must have solid technical proficiency in Windows server environments, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, and functional network troubleshooting.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $57.00 per hour
