• Analyzes, designs and writes specifications for programs. Creates appropriate documentation in assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
• Designs web pages, processes and programs to meet business needs. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
• Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery. Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program/time requirements.
• Assists technical lead in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks.
• Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Engineering
• Minimum 6+ years in Microsoft .NET experience.
• Minimum 6+ years in C# experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in MVC experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in Angular JS / Angular JS2
• Minimum 4+ years MS SQL Server or Oracle experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience
• Desired:
  Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS) will be preferred.
• Experience in media and entertainment domain is preferred but not required.

Job Duties: Identify, develop, and deliver Test results and bug tracking reports and metrics for Business Intelligence Solutions developed on varied data warehouse platforms including SAP BI, SAP BOBJ and Microsoft Business Intelligence Solutions. Utilize Data warehouse modeling including dimensional modeling, Star Schema and so on in implementing new data warehouse models and enhancing existing data warehouse models. Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in T-SQL to write and understand stored procedures, functions, views, synonyms, and date functions.

Design, implement, and test cases and metric reports for data warehousing and data mart projects in a Microsoft environment using SQL Server 2008/2012 technologies. Design test cases, T-SQL scripts, simulate and perform load testing of BI applications both on backend (ETL loads, OLAP processing, usage based optimization, and Microsoft SharePoint platform). Develop test cases based off of requirements for BI application security integrated with active directory and SQL server authentication.

Understand and execute query profiling, usage based optimizations, and MDX query language scripts on QA stack and log bugs in bug tracking tool such as Team Foundation Server (TFS). Independently handle SSIS and SSAS testing, deployment and releases thru DEV/QA/Prod BI stacks following industry standard practices. Work through all phases of implementation and complete BI life cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering thru go-live Utilize good understanding of agile methodologies and sprint planning in day to day project activities.

Utilize knowledge in debugging SSIS scripts and code walkthroughs for trouble shooting and performing root cause analyses. Perform Script tasks and package deployments related to Integration Services. Demonstrate thorough understanding of business processes especially in Pharmaceutical domain and Insurance domain and participate in business process enhancement discussions. Position requires up to 50% domestic travel annually.
