Azure Engineer With IAM
Location:
Burlington, MA - ONSITE Duration: 6 months Pay Range: $50 - $55/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Technical/Functional
Design and implement Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Client Entra ) solutions for authentication, authorization, and identity governance
Manage user identities, roles, and access controls (RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access)
Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity federation
Configure and manage Azure AD Connect for hybrid identity scenarios
Monitor and remediate identity-related security vulnerabilities and risks
Perform access reviews, auditing, and compliance reporting
Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and third-party services
Automate IAM processes using Power Shell, Azure CLI, or scripting tools
Support incident response and troubleshooting related to identity and access issues
Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to enforce IAM best practices
Roles & Responsibilities
Strong experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra )
Hands-on experience with:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Conditional Access Policies
- Identity Protection
- Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
- Experience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid identity environments
- Familiarity with cloud security and IAM best practices
- Scripting skills (Power Shell, Azure CLI)
- Understanding of Zero Trust security model
- Azure Update Manager
- Client SCCM / Intune
- Service Now
- Windows Server and Linux Administration
- SIEM and Endpoint Security tools
Generic Managerial Skills
Must be detailed oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be an aggressive self-starter. A strong sense of customer service, attention to detail, and issue ownership. Understanding of ITIL concepts desired.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. 5–10 years of experience in IT security, system administration, or vulnerability management. Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or SC-900 are a plus.
