Project Analyst II
Hours40 hours per week - Monday through Friday. May require occasional after hours work.
OverviewThis position will support our Patient Access team at Tufts Medicine. Primary responsibilities will include the creation, optimization and ongoing administrative ownership of PBI-based dashboards and datasets, and partnering with operational leaders to develop data packages for patient access, workforce management and process improvement. This role will integrate data from multiple platforms, including AWS, Epic, and Workday to produce KPIs and other critical metrics in support of our clinical and operational leaders.
Job OverviewThis position is responsible for performing operational analytics and providing key data to multidisciplinary teams to help strategically adjust projects accordingly. Proactively manages data and systems infrastructure that will facilitate and accelerate the scope, process, and performance. Works closely with leaders to provide accurate tracking and reporting of programmatic initiatives and metrics to the senior management and support staff as requested.
Identifies opportunities to improve outcomes such as quality, patient access and volume, and improve overall patient experience.
Job DescriptionMinimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Two (2) years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
:
- Experience with statistical analysis software such as T-SQL.
Duties and Responsibilities
:

Provides regularly reporting to stakeholders that measures attributes such as quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, network referral volume, margin drivers for the PO and for departments, and patient access data.Provides project support and easily digestible reports and dashboards to multidisciplinary teams, generally focused on data-driven priority initiatives, anticipated future projections, and insight to areas of potential improvement.Assists with internal audits, identifying areas of process improvement, and centralizing processes aimed at optimizing workflow where necessary.Coordinates enterprise-wide efforts to ensure that performance improvement programs are developed and managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.Collaborates with the department director and teams on development and communication.Ensures quality and process improvement programs are data-driven.Provides analytic and quality improvement support to ambulatory leadership that includes: observation, data collection, monitoring, solutions and reporting.Recommends ad hoc consulting and process improvement initiatives on an as needed basis.Facilitates prioritization and completion of projects with internal and external stakeholders.Translates data-driven insights into clear priorities and interventions for operations managers to act on.Physical RequirementsFrequent sitting, occasional standing or walking, and lifting of 10-15 lbs.May be exposed to dust and other typical office-like discomforts.Manual dexterity using fine hand manipulations for computer keyboard operation.Requires ability to see computer screen and read reports.Requires ability to hear instructions from physicians and other clinical or nursing staff.Skills & AbilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a medical matrix team and adequately represent needs of department, and work with leadership throughout the organization.Outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills.Demonstrates initiative qualities.Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize and pursue multiple tasks in tandem.Highly developed skills using personal computer tools including Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheets and presentation applications.Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and be able to articulate complex ideas.Be a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision.Possesses the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.Analytic and quantitative skills are needed to design and produce financial and clinical reports to make resource-planning decisions.Mature judgment and a high level of motivation and professionalism.Remains open to new ideas.Ability to be creative and flexible.Comfortable working in a large, complex organization.SQL Database skills.Job Profile SummaryThis role focuses on managing operational aspects of ongoing projects from initiation through completion and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
