Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting📍 Mostly Remote | Base Salary Up to $170K
We’re looking for a high‑caliber Senior Manager to own our SEC reporting process and serve as a technical accounting leader across a complex, fast‑growing organization. This is a mostly remote role offering strong visibility, meaningful impact, and collaboration with senior finance leadership.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Finance
, this role plays a critical part in ensuring high‑quality external reporting and providing technical accounting leadership across the business.
- Lead the end‑to‑end SEC reporting lifecycle, from planning through filing
- Manage reporting timelines and coordinate across internal stakeholders
- Oversee iXBRL tagging and ensure clear, compliant disclosures
- Lead Disclosure Committee discussions
- Partner with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Support Investor Relations and Corporate FP&A during earnings and internal reporting
- Oversee preparation of disclosure support across the team
- Research and resolve complex accounting matters, communicating conclusions across decentralized business units
- Develop and document accounting positions for transactions such as M&A, restructurings, minority investments, and hedging activities
- Lead implementation of new FASB and SEC requirements (including expense disaggregation, expanded segment reporting, and climate‑related disclosures)
- Actively support the development of global accounting policies
- Review monthly cash flow statements and lead quarterly cash flow analytics
- Present insights during quarterly CFO review meetings
- Become a “super user” of finance and consolidation systems while driving continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop junior team members in a collaborative, growth‑focused environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
active CPA required - 8+ years of experience
, including 5+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or strong regional firm required) - Strong command of US GAAP and SEC reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and confident decision‑maker
- Hands‑on, energetic leader who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality
Base salary up to $170,000
