Controller – Burlington, MA (Hybrid)
Industry: Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering
A growing manufacturing and engineering organization in Burlington, MA is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting and reporting functions during a key expansion phase. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong operational finance capabilities and the ability to build and develop a team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead full accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Oversee monthly/quarterly reporting, consolidations, and financial packages.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Partner with operations on cost accounting, inventory, and supply chain analytics.
- Improve systems, workflows, and financial processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
- 8–12+ years progressive accounting leadership experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or similar operational environments.
- Strong cost accounting, internal controls, and systems background.
- Hybrid: 2–3 days in Burlington.
