Description
The electromechanical technician will be responsible for supporting manufacturing. You will assemble, service and maintain electromechanical X-Ray based equipment. You will be responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting, mechanical system assembly, incoming part inspection and database documentation to ensure operational reliability and product quality across production and service environments.
Key Responsibilities- Build a variety of electromechanical sub-assemblies and assemblies using procedures and verbal instructions.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, mechanical subassemblies, sensors, PCB and wiring harnesses all with a focus on continuous improvement and quality.
- Diagnose and service X-Ray generation equipment, imaging systems, power supplies and associated high voltage components.
- Perform point to point wiring and proper cable routing.
- Maintain internal databases with instrument information.
- Proficient in components and wire soldering, certification is a plus.
- Document non-conformances and process problems. Initiate corrective actions and collaborate with engineering on solutions.
- Author completes and in-depth root cause analysis reports for production failures.
- Design and build test fixtures for production electrical testing.
- Create and maintain work instructions, test procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Associates degree or technical certificate in Electromechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ direct experience electromechanical assembly, industrial troubleshooting, or equipment maintenance.
- Experience in X-Ray electromechanical assembly and troubleshooting a plus.
- Familiarity with Android system-based software packages is a plus.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, BOMS and technical documentation.
- The ability to prioritize workflow to best meets production demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, calibration practices, or regulated manufacturing environments.
